How it works
- About eighty florists, chosen through regional rounds and nominations, all build displays on a set theme at the same time.
- The top ten meet in a final. In 2026 it was a surprise round: sixty minutes, shared materials, and a theme revealed on stage.
- A separate Grand Champion contest is open only to top-ten finishers from the past five Japan Cups and helps choose florists for international competitions.
