UK Florist of the Year

The British Florist Association's national title. Florists enter heats across the UK in spring and summer, and the top six in each category go through to a live final.

How it works

There are two categories: Newcomer, for florists with under five years' experience, and Open.
Finalists make four pieces, one of them a surprise. In 2025 the Open finalists made a bridal design using lines from Shakespeare, a sustainable funeral design, a freestanding arrangement and a surprise hand-tied bouquet.
Visitors also vote for a People's Choice award.
